Cinema Club In-Person
Join us the fourth Friday of each month for a film screening, discussion and snacks! In honor of National Science Fiction Day on Jan. 2, this month's film screening is "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" on January 31 from 2-4:30 PM.
Stephen Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (1977, rated PG, 2 hours and 18 minutes) is a sci-fi adventure about a group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary's (Richard Dreyfuss) life changes after he witnesses an unidentified flying object and refuses to accept any alternative explanation for what he saw.
Registration is required. This event is free and open to all.
