Crafting with Adults: Continental Knitting In-Person
Learn the art of Continental Knitting with instructor Edith Schneider from local textile non-profit Fiber & Fringe (https://fiberandfringe.org/). Continental Knitting is considered to be the most efficient knitting technique, requiring fewer hand motions per stitch. The yarn is held in the left hand, making this method perfect for knitters who are left-handed, although right-handed knitters will have no problem mastering this knitting technique as well.
Instructor Edith Schneider is a college professor who teaches classes in fashion Design and Merchandizing. She recently started a non-profit collective organization Fiber & Fringe) here in Paso Robles specializing in textile art. Her goal is to teach people how to use new materials, help them find a new hobby, and keep materials out of the landfill by re-using, recycling, and re-purposing existing yarns and fabrics.
Space is limited. Please register each family member individually. This class is for ages 16+.
