Tenants' Rights and Eviction Protection- Bilingual In-Person
We are partnering with the California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) Foundation to bring you valuable information about tenants' rights and legal protections against evictions. At this free event the CRLA will cover the following topics:
- Overview of the Unlawful Detainer (Eviction) Process by Brianna Locatelli, Managing Attorney and Aurora Denny, Community Worker with the CRLA
- Housing Habitability Laws in California by Aren Ash, Staff Attorney for Housing and Economic Rights Advocates
- Tenant Protection Act of 2019 by Matthew Kay, Housing/Probate Facilitator for the Self Help Center at the SLO County Court
CRLA will provide English/Spanish interpreting for the entire event.
This event is free but registration is required. Please register each family member individually. For ages 16+.
