Cinema Club In-Person
Join us the fourth Friday of every month for a film screening, discussion and snacks! In honor of Women's History Month, in March we are screening "Hidden Figures."
Director Theodore Melfi's "Hidden Figures" (2017, rated PG-13, 2hrs 7mins) tells the true story of three brilliant African American women working at NASA-- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) while serving as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in space history, launching astronaut John Glenn (Glenn Powell) into orbit.
