Crafting with Adults: Sashiko Coasters In-Person
Learn the traditional Japanese art of Sashiko sewing techniques to embroider a set of four coasters. Sashiko has been used for centuries to decorate fabric or mend damaged clothing items using a special twisted thread. Intricate patterns combine with a simple color palette make for a beautiful design. This project uses ideas and instructions from the YouTube channel The Green Wrapper. This class is ideal for beginning to advanced level crafters.
Registration is required and space is limited. Open to ages 16+.
