Cinema Club In-Person
Join us on the fourth Friday of every month for a film screening, discussion and snacks! In conjunction with the library's monthly book group theme, we are screening Frank Capra's 1944 film "Arsenic and Old Lace."
Director Frank Capra's "Arsenic and Old Lace" (1944, 1 hr 58 mins) is a dark screwball comedy where theater critic Mortimer Brewster (Cary Grant) discovers, on his Hallows Eve wedding day, that his sweet and elderly aunts are charming but eccentric murderers! Mortimer and his new bridge, Pricilla (Elaine Harper) find that his family is far more dangerous-and hilarious-than he ever imagined.
